The Eagles are in a Division II district final for the second year in a row, and they will face top seeded and OCC Capital Division rival Big Walnut on Friday at Pickerington North.
The teams split during the regular season, with New Albany winning 52 50 on Jan. 6 and Big Walnut taking the second meeting 40 35 on Feb. 6.

It had a first round bye and defeated London 41 33 in the second round Feb. 25.
There should be few surprises Friday in what will be the eighth meeting between the programs in three seasons. Big Walnut holds a 4 3 edge in the last "Anabola Steroider Norge Lagligt" seven, including a 41 29 decision in the second round of the tournament two years ago.

"(Controlling emotions) is a big part," she said. "We want to keep our composure even though it's a district final and we're going for our first district championship since 2003."
